Outreach Worker to support individuals, groups and communities bereaved by suicide in Braddon, ACT.
$44.58 per hour (SCHADS Level 4B) plus leave loading, super, and salary packaging.

Responsibilities
* Reach out through community engagement, education and training, as well as events and activities.
* Manage community‐based projects, including planning and evaluation.
* Provide critical response management, including on‐call team coordination, crisis support, trauma‐informed practice, and self‐care management.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working with people bereaved by suicide and/or delivering severe personal trauma support.
* Well‐developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking, facilitation, consultation, and effective teamwork with a broad range of stakeholders.
* Experience in critical response management, on‐call coordination, crisis counselling, trauma response and self‐care practices.
* Proactive approach to community development practice and knowledge of local community infrastructure and networks.
* Minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant allied health or community services discipline (e.g., psychology, counselling, mental health, social work, or community development) with substantial suicide bereavement experience.
* Current valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for the role.
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Right to work in Australia.
* Satisfactory National Police Records Check.
