Human Resources Manager – Immediate Start or Notice Period Accepted – Flexible Hours
Are you a passionate HR professional looking to play a pivotal role within a dynamic and well‐established local manufacturer? Our client, a respected WA‐owned company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and evolve their people practices.
This is a rare opportunity to join a close‐knitted, long‐tenured team where your contributions are valued, and your voice truly matters.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the HR Manager will be instrumental in ensuring seamless and compliant HR operations across the business. You will take ownership of a broad portfolio: from overseeing end‐to‐end recruitment (including direct involvement in senior‐level hires), to shaping company policies and supporting leaders on complex people matters.
Day‐to‐day, you'll manage the employee lifecycle – contracts, reviews, onboarding, and more – while also coaching and mentoring the HR team. Your expertise in employee relations and award interpretation will be crucial. Working closely with the Quality team, you'll also help ensure HR compliance for ISO 9001 accreditation.
This hands‐on position offers plenty of scope to drive continuous improvement, champion employee engagement, and design initiatives that attract and retain top talent. You'll also be involved in HR data analysis, policy development, workforce planning, and supporting projects related to HSEQ and return‐to‐work processes.
What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualifications in HR, Employee/Industrial Relations or extensive relevant industry experience
* Demonstrated success in a senior HR role, ideally within a manufacturing or similar environment
* Ability to build strong relationships at all levels, offering trusted guidance and advice
* High standards of confidentiality and professionalism
* Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and award interpretation
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Desirable
* Previous experience in manufacturing or blue‐collar workforce
* Experience supporting a tenured SME workforce
* Exposure to ISO 9001 HR compliance
Benefits
You will become part of a supportive workplace that values longevity, teamwork, and shared achievement.
Comprehensive onboarding and training are provided to keep your expertise current, along with opportunities to drive meaningful change in a thriving WA business.
You will also benefit from flexible working hours and an opportunity to work a condensed 38‐hour week with a shorter workday on Friday – so you can start your weekend early!
