As a
Technical Sales Specialist
you'd be working in a small team playing a key role in growing Amber's customer base. You'll be talking to prospective Amber customers and educating them about how Amber works and how they can benefit from Amber's Smartshift automation technology to improve their return on investment while also helping accelerate Australia's transition to 100% renewables.
Technical Sales Specialist Responsibilities
Surprise and delight prospective customers with outstanding service and sound technical knowledge of our products
Speak with prospective customers over the phone, assessing their needs and explaining how Amber can benefit them
Understand customer needs, identify potential new opportunities in our product, and provide this feedback to the product and technology teams
Provide key insights around sign up conversion, conversation trends and blockers
Follow up with new customers to ensure satisfaction with Amber's products
Work with the marketing team to build and target prospective customers
Key Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in sales or similar field
Experience working in fast-paced organisations
Experience working in a phone-based role
Passion for technology, energy or the environment
Experience working in the Energy sector (desirable)
