Trade Sales & Account Manager

Midstream Hardware is a trade-focused building materials supplier servicing builders and trades across Mandurah, the Peel Region, and surrounding areas.
We're looking for a Trade Sales & Account Manager to strengthen our sales capacity and help protect and grow our key customer relationships as the business continues to expand.
This is not a traditional Business Development role and not a delivery role.
It's a hands-on, embedded commercial role for someone who understands trade, builders, and how work gets done on site.

About the Role
This role sits at the intersection of account management, trade sales, and opportunity follow-up.
You'll be responsible for managing key builder and trade accounts, developing a defined group of growth-focused accounts, and ensuring opportunities are followed through from enquiry to order.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and growing a portfolio of key builder and trade accounts
* Developing growth accounts with the potential to become long-term, high-value customers
* Following up quotes, estimates, and enquiries to conversion
* Building strong relationships with builders, trades, and site supervisors
* Supporting counter and phone trade sales as required
* Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity records in our CRM system
* Monitoring declining or at-risk accounts and acting early where recovery is commercially justified
The role is primarily focused on Mandurah and the Peel Region, with scope to support growth in surrounding regions as the business expands.

About You
You'll likely have:
* Experience in trade sales or building materials
* A solid understanding of construction workflows
* Confidence dealing with builders, site supervisors, and trades
* A sales mindset, with a natural focus on opportunity, follow-through, and outcomes
* Strong follow-up habits and a structured approach
* Comfort using systems and keeping information up to date
* A practical, team-oriented mindset
Local area knowledge is an advantage.

* $80,000 – $90,000 + super, based on experience plus incentive package
