The Role: Accounts Officer Location: Melbourne Inner suburbs Temp to permanent opportunity Immediate Start Hybrid working As Accounts Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the accounts receivable and payable functions. You will ensure accurate and timely invoicing, collections and reconciliation of accounts. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely debt collection and accurate debtor records. Deliver high-level customer service on all billing and invoicing matters. Process and reconcile supplier invoices, statements, and payments. Review accounts, monitor client payments/credit history, and recommend improved repayment terms. Handle finance administration, including data entry, invoicing, reminders, and account queries. Assist with month-end processes: journals, balance sheet, and GL reconciliations. Manage the finance inbox, responding promptly to all queries. Key Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Commerce or related field 2 years' demonstrated experience in a similar role Knowledge of general accounting principles and month-end processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills You must have full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident) Please note: We will only consider applications submitted via this posting.
