We are seeking a personable Clothing Store Assistant to support the operation of our School uniform store. The successful candidate will be able to form a warm and accommodating rapport with boys and their families and utilise prior experience in clothing retail.
Commencing 20 January 2026, this role is offered on a permanent part time basis. Working Monday and Tuesday each week (15.2 hours) during the School term, plus an additional 6 weeks per year during vacation periods, including during the busy back to School period.
The Clothing Store Assistant will be expected to:
Ensure a high level of customer service to all boys, their families and the wider School community
Provide accurate advice on uniform requirements to each individual student in accordance with the School's uniform policy
Ensure that the store is presented to a high standard and is well stocked at all times
Process sales and stock transactions through the point of sale system
Assist with overall stock management and stocktakes as required; and
Perform daily banking reconciliations including checking float balances as required.
The successful applicant may possess:
Well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with both Junior and Secondary School boys and their families
An ability to be flexible and adaptable
A high level of time management and ability to multitask; and
Experience with school age students, retail clothing or previous uniform store experience would be highly regarded.
