We work as part of a large multidisciplinary team that is committed to providing all consumers with holistic, evidence-based care that focuses on patient safety and engagement.The Allied Health Assistant Position works within the acute and rehabilitation units at Bloomfield Hospital, Mental Health Drug and Alcohol inpatient services. The role will be assisting the allied health professionals based on the units in running groups and ward programs, as well as assisting allied health professionals with individual interventions. You would be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Social Work, Diversional Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietitians and an Education Officer.The Allied Health Assistant Position will be managed under the Occupational Therapy department.
