Defence Social Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Defence Social Worker to deliver critical support services to Defence personnel and their families in the Nowra area.
* Provide face-to-face services and welfare assessments for Defence personnel and their families, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their unique needs and circumstances.
* Offer emotional support and practical assistance to help individuals cope with challenges arising from military service, promoting resilience and well-being.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that foster the health and wellbeing of Defence families, leveraging expertise and best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
* A minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience in a relevant field, preferably in social work or human services.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
* Proven capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to shared goals and objectives.
