Financial Support Role
We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented accounting professional to join our finance team and provide critical support across a broad range of accounting tasks.
This role plays an integral part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the group's finance function.
* Managing accounts payable, supplier invoices, and payment processing is essential for this role.
* Accounts receivable, invoicing and payment tracking require strong organisational skills.
* Daily bank and credit card reconciliations must be performed with high accuracy.
* Monthly customer and supplier reconciliations need to be prepared and reviewed.
* Assisting with payroll preparation involves attention to detail and time management.
* Maintaining accurate records within the accounting system is crucial.
* Managing the accounts inbox and stakeholder queries requires excellent communication skills.
* Supporting month-end and year-end close processes involves meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies is vital for this role.
* Providing support on ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects requires adaptability and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
* A degree in Accounting (or near completion) is required.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is important.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a must.
* Experience with Xero and MYOB is highly regarded.
