Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a retail pharmacy, including supervising staff and meeting key performance indicators. They must have strong communication skills, work effectively under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
To achieve success in this role, the candidate should possess experience in retail management, preferably within a pharmacy setting. They should also have training or experience in Minfos, S2/S3 training, and computer literacy.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
* Supervise floor staff and provide daily responsibilities and tasks
* Meet pre-agreed Key Performance Indicator targets
* Learn and use electronic systems to ensure successful operations
* Arrange and facilitate monthly staff meetings
* Collaborate with store owners to implement the Strategic Plan
* Prepare and report monthly budgets, stock and ordering
* Perform various administration duties including training and induction of new staff
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years retail pharmacy experience
* Minfos training or experience (or a willingness to quickly learn)
* S2/S3 training
* Proven previous management experience
* Ideal dispensary experience
* Must be computer savvy
* Be able to attend monthly strategic meetings
