About The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst at Australian Retirement Trust (ART), you will lead end-to-end business analysis and stakeholder engagement to deliver technical solutions for complex business challenges. You will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into actionable requirements, ensuring alignment with ART’s Delivery Framework and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder engagement to develop mutually agreed, measurable benefits and defined quality outcomes.
- Elicit, assess, analyse, and document end-to-end business, stakeholder, and solution requirements using a variety of facilitation methods and analytical tools.
- Translate business requirements into suitable technology solutions, including defining system, data/application requirements, and support models.
- Acquire and apply knowledge of technical solutions, integration, and process flows to support complex change delivery.
- Own and manage documented requirements throughout the solution delivery lifecycle to ensure successful implementation and realisation of targeted benefits.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels, supporting stakeholder management and coordination across business and IT partners.
- Assess the feasibility and compatibility of new business solutions with existing systems and business strategy.
- Identify and drive opportunities for application management and quality control throughout the Solution Delivery Lifecycle.
This role is a 12-month max-term contract opportunity.

Your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and communication skills enable you to deliver results in fast-paced, dynamic settings.
Key Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience in business analysis within complex transformation programs and projects.
- Strong background in requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders, build trusted relationships, and collaborate across business and technical teams.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels.
- Proven ability to estimate, plan, and manage business analysis work schedules and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Technical knowledge of contemporary business systems, including web and client/server technologies, and database environments.
- Proficiency with requirement management tools such as Sparx EA, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
