Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual to provide Secretariat support to our key strategic governance committees and help mature governance capability across the department. The role will involve providing high-level support, advice and customer service to stakeholders and senior executives. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, organisation and coordination skills, a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, and an understanding of good governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage governance committee arrangements on behalf of the Secretariat for key departmental governance committees, including quality assuring or developing meeting materials
* Lead development of governance resources, tools and processes to build organisational capability
* Lead development and delivery of governance training and capability to mature the department's governance approach
* Provide a high level of support, advice and customer service to stakeholders and senior executives
* Quality assuring information for alignment to policies, procedures and requirements
Requirements:
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation and coordination skills.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
* Understanding of good governance requirements, including ability to translate this into user-friendly resources and capability offerings.
* Excellent communicator who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders and as part of a team.
* Ability to work across a number of areas, in a fast-paced environment, and prioritise accordingly.
