The Opportunity
UniSC Clinical Trials is a world‐class centre delivering innovative and clinically relevant research in collaboration with healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical sponsors, and community partners.
You will
* support the management of pharmacy and clinical services, including IP ordering, handling, storage, dispensing, and destruction in compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements;
* prepare and compound trial medications, including aseptic compounding and GMO products as required, while monitoring inventory and expiry dates;
* maintain accurate study records and documentation, assist with temperature monitoring, and report adverse events in line with study protocols; and
* collaborate with clinical trial teams, sponsors, and monitors to ensure pharmacy activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and to the required standards.
About you
You are a registered Pharmacist (AHPRA) with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Experienced in clinical research or investigational product management, you thrive in a flexible, fast‐paced environment, managing multiple tasks while ensuring compliance with complex regulatory requirements. You work well independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, supporting high‐quality clinical trial outcomes.
You will possess
* Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related discipline;
* Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
* Knowledge of clinical research, ICH/GCP, and investigational product management (preferred);
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams;
* Well‐developed computing skills, including databases, clinical trial electronic data entry, word processing, and spreadsheets; and
* Flexibility to travel to trial sites and work outside standard hours when required.
Desirable
* Experience with vaccine trials, administering vaccines, or managing complex disease trials;
* Experience in clinical research, including drug development processes.
