The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a clinically focussed community Pharmacist, who is committed to patient counselling, to join a busy retail Pharmacy group located in Port Douglas – the Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest in Tropical North Queensland.
We are looking for a full-time or part-time candidate, with both new graduates and experienced pharmacists welcome to apply for the position.
As a LiveLife Pharmacist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Proactively engaging, advising, and enriching the lives of our customers and patients.
* Using your clinical knowledge, skills and experience to provide optimal healthcare solutions.
* Actively implementing PPI programs and forward dispensing services.
* Being an active and motivating member of the pharmacy team.
About You
We are looking for a person who loves to laugh, smile and enjoy their day, as well as encourage and inspire those around them. To be successful in this role you will need to be an AHPRA registered Pharmacist, hold your own PI insurance and demonstrate the following:
* Self-motivation and eagerness to join a vibrant team environment.
* Willingness to go the extra mile with a desire to counsel patients with your up-to-date pharmaceutical and clinical knowledge.
* Enjoying getting to know patients on a personal level and providing them with tailored input to help them with their health concerns, needs, and goals.
* Ability to clearly communicate and demonstrate a solid understanding of medication management.
