New Haven Farm Home is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis.
We are looking for individuals who are committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment where every person can thrive and live their best life.
Responsibilities
Help clients with mobility and transportation needs
Transporting clients to appointments and community activities
Supporting clients with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and general household maintenance
Providing personal care, including showering, toileting, and dressing
Administering and assisting with medications
Supporting clients with behaviours of concern
Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote skill development and independence
Completing administrative tasks such as scanning and renaming documents
Available for evening (3:15pm-11:15pm) and active overnight shifts (11pm-7am).
Qualifications
CPR and First Aid
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Completion of internal training modules as part of induction
