About the role
Ryft is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our store in Tamworth, NSW. This is a part-time role that will see you work closely with the Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant retail outlet. In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a positive team environment.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and cash handling
2. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our valued customers
3. Motivating and leading the store team, providing coaching and training to drive performance
4. Analysing sales data and implementing strategies to improve store efficiency and profitability
5. Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
6. Actively participating in store merchandising, visual displays, and product promotions
7. Assisting with fulfilling online orders
What we're looking for
1. At least 2 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role
2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills
4. Proficient in the use of point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
5. A passion for the retail industry and a keen eye for detail
6. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
