About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our team on a Casual basis. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills and attention to detail.
The position is available on a Casual basis for an average of 2 days per week, with the view to move into a Permanent Part Time role with increased hours as the role progresses. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in General Practice, with plenty of support and room to grow.
The Practice Nurse will:
* Be willing to learn and work as a team to provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required
* Participate in Quality Improvement Activities
* Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines
* Assist with a range of duties such as; Triaging patients, Immunisations, Wound care and Health assessments
About You
* Current APHRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse is essential
* Flexibility and willingness to work a range of shifts
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong computer literacy
