An exciting opportunity exists to join one of the region's leading Financial Advice and Mortgage Broking firms, Coastline Advice, in partnership with AZNGA, one of Australia's leading professional services networks.
With offices located in Torquay, Anglesea, Barwon Heads, Geelong, Merimbula and Wonthaggi, our growing business is seeking an experienced, energetic and ambitious Financial Planning Associate to join our vibrant team. This role is primarily based in our Torquay and Geelong offices.

The Role
As a Financial Planning Associate, you will work closely with our Advisers and broader support team to:
* Prepare for pre-strategy meetings
* Conduct research and technical analysis
* Review and assist with preparation of advice documents
* Liaise closely with paraplanning and client services teams to oversee advice preparation and implementation
* Support the Adviser in managing client relationships
* Ensure exceptional communication and service standards are delivered to our valued client base
This role provides hands-on exposure across the advice process and is designed to build the technical and client-facing capabilities required to step into an Adviser role.
About You
We are seeking someone with a strong technical foundation in finance who is self-driven, motivated and detail oriented. You will thrive in a team environment while also taking initiative and ownership of your responsibilities.
Full Australian work rights are required for this position.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Highly driven with a strong 'self-starter' mentality
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
* Professional phone manner
* A candidate with 1–2 years of experience in Financial Planning, holding a Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) Degree qualified, OR
* A university graduate (or near completion) looking to gain valuable industry experience and take the first step in building a successful career in financial planning.

Travel between our regional offices will be required; however, the role is predominantly based in Torquay, Geelong and Barwon Heads.
