Key skills and responsibilities of the job
This position is a key role to support growth within Australia. The role is responsible for supplying direct support to the Country Manager, in setting up and developing the Australian subsidiary.
Leading the implementation of sales tools and management systems to maintain streamline processes within sales and distribution, the position of Sales and Marketing Specialist liaises directly with HQ (Valencia) to ensure the ongoing rollout and implementation of core systems, system transactions and staff training follows company standard whilst leading marketing and supporting sales.
Due to presence within Australia as business entity being a new addition to the Porcelanosa portfolio, heavy reliance on HQ for system support is necessary and therefore written and verbal command of the Spanish language is essential.
Supporting the external sales team via identification and prospecting of new B2B opportunities through CRM‐driven outreach, designing structured processes and communication workflows to improve lead engagement is essential. This will include actively selling.
Coordination and assistance at events, trade shows and commercial activities on behalf of the company will require the post holder to utilise marketing skills previously developed to ensure success.
The role will support business growth, through market analysis, including competitors and potential strategic partners.
Duties to successfully fulfil the role include
Marketing
* Respond to email enquiries on a daily basis as required.
* Monitor review platforms daily. Respond and follow up review/complaint emails from social media, Google Reviews, Trustpilot and Power Reviews (1-3 stars only).
* Create review regional analysis report.
* Liaise with brand marketing teams within HQ for new press and images at the start of each year (Jan/Feb).
* Assist with writing and checking content for catalogues, leaflets, online content, flyers, invites, POS.
* Assist with collating, writing and distributing internal communications.
* Responsible for sending out company logo and imagery and monitoring usage.
* Creating specific/various PowerPoint presentations as instructed.
* Carry out general market research when directed.
Advertising
* Assist with researching new methods of advertising.
* Assist in regularly liaising with HQ to ensure advertising agency strategies and plans for future campaigns are suitable for Australia.
Events
* Create all the upcoming yearly events on Salesforce (national and regional campaigns) at the beginning of the year. Monitor success and record.
* Assist with organising and preparing for events (décor, logistics, guest lists, name badges, catering, photographer, presentations and hand‐out materials as needed).
* Attending, arranging, booking events including hotels and travel.
Branding
* Assist in ensuring branding is consistent throughout the Australia, showrooms, media, advertising.
* Assist with researching new methods of building brand awareness.
Showrooms
* Engage with territories to support each location with events and launches as required
Sales
* Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using directories and other sources
* ensuring updating knowledge of Porcelanosa products and business model to ensure suitable products sold
* Working knowledge of competitors' range and where Porcelanosa offers a superior product along with knowledge of and market conditions
* Attending customer visits, prospective clients and servicing customers attending the showroom location
* assessing customers' needs and recommending suitable products form the Porcelanosa range
* ensuring customers' needs are meet, whilst monitoring market trends
* Ensuring accurate quoting and credit terms where applicable
* Ensuring orders/sales contracts are correct and issued in a timely manner
* arranging delivery
* Directing the development and implementation of sales strategies and setting sales targets in order to maximise an organisation's sales and customer loyalty
* Aftersales care - which includes
* Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with products, resolving any problems arising
* Developing and reviewing policies and procedures concerning customer relations and products sold
* Providing direction and feedback to sales team members
* Supporting staff providing customer services to ensure high level of customer satisfaction
* Planning and implementing after‐sales services to follow up customer satisfaction, ensure performance of goods purchased, and modify and improve services provided
* liaising with other organisational departments both within Australia and HQ (Spain) to identify and respond to customer expectations

Experience, Education and Qualifications
* English, verbal and written communication.
* Spanish, verbal and written communication.
* Marketing qualification/accreditation preferred but not essential.
* Drivers Licence.
* Understanding of branding, online/offline marketing and advertising
* Experience within KBB industry desirable
* Experience or demonstratable knowledge of customer services/after sales support
* Experience in a generalist supporting administration role with passion for sales environment
* Strong IT skills – use of packages such as SaleForce and SAP would be advantageous
