About the role Execute the security architecture design development for key projects through the application of architectural methods, standards and principles. Take ownership of Security deliverables for the program and ensure that they are agreed and endorsed by all stakeholders. Work with analysts in defining business requirements and work with subject matter experts (such as infrastructure leads, cloud specialists, architects, operators, developers, and business experts) to develop high level designs, in line with the enterprise architecture, patterns and practices. This may occasionally extend to assist with detailed design work. Contribute to the maintenance of a central repository for models, standards, patterns, components and solution architectures. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders in scoping initiatives, ensuring they are scoped in accordance with architectural objectives and principles. Contribute to improvement of the Information Technology Department's software development and architecture practices and processes. Manage the expectations of business stakeholders and promote the use of enterprise/ security patterns and practices. About You Network segmentation and secure infrastructure Cloud security architecture Identity and access management (IAM, PAM, Zero Trust) Application and API security Data security and encryption patterns Security tools, platforms, and technologies Sound understanding of cyber controls, risk taxonomy and technology, committed to delivering secure, high‑quality outcomes. Experience in effectively managing risks and issues to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Bank's information systems. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, communication, influencing and documentation skills. Strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving capabilities, calm under pressure and pragmatic. Understanding of risk and compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, CIS) and Zero Trust models. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as a Bachelors’ degree or equivalent Professional certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, and GIAC certifications (e.g. GSTRT, GSLC, GCIL etc). Azure and Microsoft M365 security certifications desirable.
