We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Perioperative Registered Nurse to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role offers the perfect balance of challenge and reward, allowing you to grow professionally while delivering exceptional patient care.
About the Role:
* This position will see you working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient needs and deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.
* You will be responsible for assisting the nursing team in providing safe, evidence-based patient care.
* Ensure theatre complexes and equipment are ready for surgery, prioritizing patient safety and effective communication with the surgical team.
* Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications and delivering education and support to patients for their recovery.
* Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
About You:
* You have a genuine passion for nursing, with a commitment to delivering world-class patient care.
* A solid experience as a scrub/scout in a perioperative setting is essential, along with tertiary qualifications in Nursing or a similar field.
* Current AHPRA registration is mandatory, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
