Level 2 Support Engineer - TWO positions available (Perth, Western Australia only - Remote - 0.9FTE)
We're seeking two highly capable and self-driven Level 2 Support Engineers to join our dynamic team supporting all our clients. This role is fully working from home (Perth based only) for all shifts and requires a suitable at home office space with high speed internet connectivity. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can confidently make technical decisions independently, and is committed to delivering exceptional service.
Work Schedule (0.9FTE) - TWO positions available with below hours
Position 1
* Weekend Shifts: Saturday 5 PM – Sunday 5 AM and Sunday 5PM to Monday 5AM
* Weekday Shift: Friday 5am-5pm
* Total Weekly Commitment: 36 hours
Position 2
* Weekday Shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5am-5pm
* Total Weekly Commitment: 36 hours
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to and resolve user-initiated phone calls to the service desk
* Manage and escalate user-submitted tickets as needed
* Handle Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents with urgency and precision
* Basic Linux command line experience is required for system patching and verification tasks
* Demonstrated ability to use basic Linux command line operations for system patching and verification tasks
* Remotely manage physical access to the datacenter (unlock/lock doors)
* Monitor and respond to datacenter temperature alerts
* Provide proactive recommendations to enhance service quality, security, and system performance

* Someone who can work all shifts from home with an adequate office setup and with high speed internet connectivity
* Minimum 2 years of IT helpdesk experience is required
* Work Schedule as above

Foundational Skills Required
