Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is seeking a motivated and reliable Cleaner to join our Environmental Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role in a supportive healthcare environment where your work makes a real difference to patients, residents, staff and visitors every day.
The Contract: Ongoing, Full Time, 80.0 hours per fortnight with ADO
Work hours: Afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, 3.30pm – 12.00am
About The Role:
In this role, you will deliver high‑quality cleaning services in accordance with organisational procedures and Victorian Cleaning Standards, ensuring all areas are maintained to a safe and hygienic standard. You will complete both scheduled and ad‑hoc cleaning tasks across a variety of environments, using cleaning equipment, chemicals and personal protective equipment safely and correctly. The role requires a professional and respectful approach when interacting with patients, residents, families and staff, as well as the ability to contribute positively to a team environment while also working independently when required.

About You
* Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling and repetitive cleaning tasks.
* Experience in cleaning or a similar role, with a willingness to learn healthcare cleaning standards.
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused, respectful approach.
* Reliable, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrates a strong work ethic and alignment with BRHS values and principles of care.
