The successful candidate will support the Parks Supervisor in preparing, controlling, and monitoring parks projects, ensuring they are delivered safely and efficiently. This includes helping to maintain a well-organised work environment and taking responsibility for managing smaller parks activities.
The starting salary for this position is $2,520.36 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation.

About You
You're an experienced and hands-on team leader who thrives in an outdoor, practical environment. You enjoy planning and delivering parks projects, supporting your team, and ensuring safe, well-organised work across a variety of sites in the Shire.
* Demonstrated ability to supervise work teams and contractors to achieve work program outcomes.
* Certificate III in Horticulture (Parks and Gardens) or equivalent qualification.
* Significant experience in parks or construction environments.
* Proven ability to assist with project planning, monitoring and reporting.
* Strong practical technical skills (e.g. irrigation systems, plant capabilities).
* Willingness and ability to undertake physical labouring tasks.
* Well-developed communication, literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
