About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the Tool Store Person will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Newman Toolstore. You will ensure the Toolstore remains organised, safe, and tidy, while providing guidance and advice on tooling requirements maintaining the good working order and organising tooling repairs whilst maintaining stock levels of consumables.
This is a versatile role primarily focused on the Toolstore, with additional support provided to the workshop team and warehouse personnel. For the right candidate, we offer training and development opportunities to help you grow within WesTrac.
Location & Roster Options
* Location: Newman
* Roster:
o FIFO from Perth: 9 days on / 5 days off OR 10 days on / 4 days off
o Residential: 5 days on / 2 days off.
What We're Looking For
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Basic administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (SAP experience is an advantage)
* Mechanical knowledge and/or understanding of parts and tooling requirements (highly desirable)
* High Risk Licence – LF (forklift) is highly desirable
* Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a proactive approach
