As International Tax Manager, you will be a key member of our Group Tax team within Group Finance, reporting to the Global Head of Tax. Based in Laverton, Australia, this role plays a critical part in leading global tax accounting processes, providing commercial tax advice, and managing the European tax function in a complex multinational environment.
How you'll help us grow
In this role, you will:
* Lead the preparation of half‐year and full‐year group tax accounting entries and disclosures
* Provide robust, practical tax advice to the business across international matters
* Manage international tax audits and engage with tax authorities and external advisors
* Oversee and support the European tax function, including indirect and corporate tax matters
* Drive optimisation of group tax attributes and support global tax initiatives
Could this be you?
We're looking for someone who brings strong technical capability and a hands‐on mindset, along with the ability to see the bigger picture. You will ideally have
* Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant or Masters
* Strong knowledge of Australian and international tax, including OECD and transfer pricing principles
* Solid tax effect accounting experience, with the confidence to prepare group notes and support business units
* Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
* Confidence working with large data sets and tax systems (experience with Oracle EPM TRCS is an advantage)
