About the Role
The JBS Dinmore HR Team is currently recruiting an experienced HR generalist to join the team in a full-time capacity (morning shift; 4.30am start time). Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, this role is ideal for any HR professionals looking to further develop their career in a challenging, complex and fast paced food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
* Providing HR advice, coaching and support to production managers, supervisors and employees
* Maintaining adequate manning levels for the business
* Ensuring compliance with legislation, policies and procedures
* Leading investigations and performance management processes
* Managing trends in attendance, absenteeism and turnover
* Ensuring and supporting positive employee relations
* Updating and maintaining HR records (Success Factors HRIS)
* Ensuring the safety of all employees and abiding by WH&S legislation
About You
* HR qualifications advantageous but not essential
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
* Previous experience with and the ability to have difficult conversations
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Ability to influence and perseverance to improve processes
* Ability to cultivate professional working relationships at all levels of the business
* Ability to work day or night shifts on a 38-hour week; Monday to Thursday (flexibility is essential)
* Must hold Australian working rights
* Intermediate computer skills specifically within MS Word and Excel
* Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
