This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth automotive group as their next Group Financial Controller, based in Adelaide.
With expansion in recent years and strong momentum for further growth, this is a senior leadership role where you’ll be more than just a numbers person, you’ll be a key advisor to the business owner, supporting both strategic direction and operational execution.
You’ll lead a capable finance and admin team, manage the full finance function, and be hands‑on with business decisions including potential acquisitions. The role will also include support with broader financial matters for outside of the core business.
We’re looking for a commercially‑minded Financial Controller who can bring strong leadership, structure, and financial insight to a growing and evolving operation.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead the finance function across a multi‑site automotive group
* Manage and mentor the finance/admin team
* Oversee reporting, compliance, budgeting and financial performance
* Provide strategic insight on acquisitions and business scalability
* Work closely with ownership and external advisors
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven financial leadership experience within the automotive environment
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on
* CPA/CA qualifications ideal but not essential with strong track record
* Excellent communication and team management skills
* Experience with dealership systems advantageous but not mandatory
