The Role We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst (Field Service / Asset Service Management – FSM/ASM) to join a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program, supporting the delivery of field service and asset management capabilities as part of a major enterprise ERP modernisation. Location: North Sydney – Hybrid (2–3 days in office) Duration: 12 month initial contract with strong likelihood of extension Day Rate: $900 - 1100 including super Working within a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program, you will partner with service operations, asset management, and technology stakeholders to capture requirements, map business processes, and support the design and delivery of SAP Field Service and Asset Service Management solutions. This role will work closely with SAP functional consultants, architects, and implementation partners to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable, user-centric SAP capabilities across field service and asset lifecycle processes. Responsibilities Lead business analysis activities across field service and asset service management processes including work order management, scheduling, dispatch, and maintenance planning Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture functional and non-functional requirements Map current-state and future-state service workflows across field operations and asset lifecycle Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria Support solution design workshops with SAP functional consultants and architects Contribute to process design, integration definitions, and data models across FSM/ASM solutions Assist with testing activities including SIT and UAT preparation, test scripts, and defect triage Support data validation and integration across SAP S/4HANA and connected systems Collaborate with change and training teams to support user adoption, deployment, and business readiness Experience Proven experience as a Business Analyst within SAP or large ERP transformation programs (ideally S/4HANA) Experience across Field Service Management (FSM), Asset Service Management (ASM), or service-based SAP modules (PM, CS, S/4HANA Service) Strong understanding of service processes including planning & dispatch, technician mobility, service execution, and asset maintenance Experience supporting SAP FSM implementations or enhancements Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and process mapping (BPMN or similar) Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including service operations and asset teams Exposure to integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g. CRM, scheduling, mobility platforms) Strong communication and stakeholder management capability within complex transformation program Please apply ASAP to secure an interview slot for this week!
