**About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to deliver high level clinical social work assessments and interventions, including group work and supported meal therapy to consumers as a part of a multidisciplinary team with people admitted for treatment of an eating disorder.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Ensure consumers, carers and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, deliver contemporary high-level clinical social work services that is based on valid and reliable evidence, is in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, and performed with a high degree of independence.
Engage in varied and complex inter-sectoral linking, advocacy and liaison with relevant stakeholders and partnerships, including communication and interpretation of complex clinical information to secure the service needs of consumers.
Provide clinical leadership and participate in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities within the Mental Health Service to continually improve consumer care.
