About the role
Home Care West Moreton is looking for caring and reliable individuals to assist seniors in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship and social support. If you have a passion for helping others and a positive attitude, we will provide the necessary training to support you in this role. We are seeking Qualified Home Care Workers who are able to work Monday to Sunday and also night shifts for a client in Camira.
Responsibilities
* Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation and shopping.
* Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
* Encourage independence and well‐being in a home environment.
What we're looking for
This role is perfect for someone who is compassionate, reliable and eager to make a difference, providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with and reporting to our supportive Senior Home Care Workers as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* Currently holds, or working towards, a Certificate 3 in Individual Support
* A current driver's licence and a reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes. Reimbursement of $0.96 per km is provided for use of own vehicle.
* Currently holds, or willing to obtain, a current police check
* Holds valid Australian work rights – we are not currently able to sponsor.
