Key qualifications & experience
Minimum of 3-5 years senior accounts or senior bookkeeping experience with solid understanding of general accounting principles.
Formal qualifications are desirable but not essential if you have the experience.
Advanced working knowledge of XERO and Excel is required.
Experience in month-end journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Ability to prioritize tasks and switch between multiple tasks as required.
Excellent logical and analytical skills are necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
Job duties & responsibilities
Bookkeeping for multiple clients across several data files including:
* Accounts Payable/Receivable
* Payroll & Superannuation Preparation & Processing
* Bank and credit card reconciliations
* Compliance work such as Payroll Tax, BAS/IAS Preparation & Processing
* Monthly Management Accounts & Cash Flows
