Marketing Sydney Contract Earn $600 -$695 per day super Offices are based in Sydney An initial 6 month contract with the view to extend About the Role: We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Paid Social and Content Lead to take end-to-end ownership of paid social media presence across ANZ. What You’ll Own Content Strategy & Ideation: Develop and manage the paid social content calendar across Meta, TikTok, and Reddit Create platform-native content ideas aligned to full-funnel marketing strategy Identify trends, cultural moments, and content formats relevant to smart home and consumer audiences in Australia Build repeatable systems for producing high-performing content at scale and speed Creative Briefing & Production: Write clear and actionable creative briefs for agencies and freelancers Ensure all creative is optimised for each platform (format, hooks, messaging, CTAs) Produce fast-turnaround lo-fi content (e.g. product demos, trend responses, behind-the-scenes) when required Support AI-assisted creative workflows for rapid testing and iteration Paid Social Execution & Optimisation: Set up, manage, and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Reddit Own audience targeting, budget allocation, A/B testing, and campaign optimisation Manage retargeting campaigns using first-party data and platform tracking tools Performance & Insights: Monitor daily campaign performance, pacing, and budget efficiency Deliver weekly and monthly reporting across key metrics (CTR, CVR, CPA, engagement, reach) Translate performance data into actionable insights for future content and campaign improvements Share learnings with broader marketing teams to influence cross-channel strategy What We’re Looking For Must-Haves: 3–5 years’ experience in social media strategy, content, or paid social (consumer-focused experience preferred) Strong understanding of platform differences (TikTok, Instagram Reels, Reddit, etc.) Experience translating strategy into clear, actionable creative briefs Hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and similar platforms Exposure to AI-driven tools for media optimisation, automation, or measurement Ability to create quick, lo-fi content using mobile tools (shooting, editing, posting) Experience working with agencies, freelancers, and creative partners Strong data literacy and ability to optimise based on performance metrics Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Reddit Ads or promoted content formats Familiarity with AI or generative content tools Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, or high-growth consumer brands Understanding of Australian consumer behaviour and cultural trends
