In this role you will be responsible for:
* Receiving, inspecting and organising parts
* Maintaining accurate stock records and updating the database accordingly
* Processing customer orders and providing product information
* Tracking the movement of inventory, conduct stock counts and identify and issues such as damaged or missing parts
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to all safety procedures.
* Delivering parts locally
* Loading and unloading stock off delivery vehicles
* Provide friendly and professional customer service
* Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal staff
* Assisting customers and workshop technicians in identifying and sourcing the correct parts
* Provide accurate pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
* Handle phone, email, and in-person sales inquires
* Process sales transactions, invoices and payments
* Assist in stock takes
To be successful you will need to have;
* A current Australian Drivers licence
* Current Australian work rights
* Previous experience in a similar role (automotive preferred but not essential)
* Excellent written and verbal skills
* High attention to detail
* A strong work ethic
* Competent computer skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and part of a team
