The NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT), as part of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW), has an exciting opportunity for a Program Support Officer to join our South East team of fun, hard working people working from multiple locations across the South East Region. About the role As the Program Support Officer you will: Deliver high quality program support services to the workgroup including processing receipt of, acknowledgement of, and data entry of applications; collation and drafting of correspondence; formatting of program documentation; financial administration support in relation to payments; updating webpages and websites; receiving, sorting and prioritising incoming correspondence with a high level of accuracy. Implement systems that optimise efficiency, and effectively manage and maintain accurate program information including data entry, records management and reporting. Ensure information is stored in accordance with Open Government principles. Provide professional and timely logistical support to meetings, committees, working parties, workshops, information sessions and forums including inviting participants, arranging venues and audio-visual equipment, travel arrangements, collation of materials for presentation, circulation of agendas and minutes, and the taking of minutes during meetings. Develop and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with key internal stakeholders and program customers to facilitate communication and information sharing and to direct enquiries. About You You have a flexible mindset and are able to problem solve as situations change. You are caring of your teammates. We're looking for a motivated Program Support Officer with experience in project coordination, business support, administration, and customer service. You'll excel at managing competing priorities, maintaining accurate records, preparing quality documentation, and supporting smooth program delivery. Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and confidence with financial administration are essential.
