headspace Esperance, led by HOPE, provides free and confidential support for young people aged 12–25 across four key areas: mental health, physical and sexual health, work and study support, and alcohol and other drug services. A local Consortium Advisory Committee brings together community leaders, service providers, young people, and families to guide the service and ensure it remains responsive to local needs.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Consortium Chairperson to lead the headspace Esperance Consortium Advisory Committee.
This voluntary role provides independent leadership to the Consortium, supporting collaboration between partner organisations and ensuring the voices of young people remain central to the service.
Responsibilities
* Chairing bi-monthly Consortium Advisory Committee meetings
* Providing leadership and strategic guidance to the Consortium
* Supporting strong collaboration between partner organisations
* Representing and advocating for headspace Esperance in the community
* Encouraging engagement from the Youth Advisory Group and Family & Friends Reference Group
* Supporting continuous improvement and the headspace Model Integrity Framework

You'll Need
* Demonstrated senior leadership experience
* Previous experience chairing boards, committees, or advisory groups
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills
* Knowledge of community services or strong networks in the sector
* Passion for improving young people's health and wellbeing in Esperance
* Current Driver's Licence
* National Police Clearance (volunteer status)
* Working With Children Check (volunteer status)
