Principal Network Specialist - 6-Month Contract
Your new company

Your new role
As a Principal Network Specialist, you'll work closely with the project team to configure and commission new Cisco router hardware as the network transitions from DMVPN to an SR‑MPLS architecture. You'll be responsible for building devices to specification, updating configuration records, preparing change documentation, and remotely commissioning routers in collaboration with field installers. This role is hands-on and requires strong technical expertise in complex routing environments.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience with MPLS technologies and advanced routing protocols (MP‑BGP, OSPF) in large-scale environments.
Strong Cisco routing and switching skills, including hardware build and configuration.
Familiarity with network virtualisation concepts (VRFs, VPNs) and QoS deployment.
Exposure to secure remote access technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, DMVPN) and authentication protocols (TACACS, RADIUS).
Ability to produce accurate documentation and work within structured change frameworks.
What you'll get in return
A 6-month contract with competitive daily rates.
Opportunity to work on a high-impact project using cutting-edge network technologies.
Flexible hybrid work arrangements and a collaborative team environment.
