The opportunity
The City is seeking a motivated and community-focused Ranger to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high‐quality regulatory services, including animal management, local law enforcement, investigations, and community engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Completion or working towards or willingness to obtain a qualification in Regulatory Officers Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1 and 2
* Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
* Exceptional written and investigative skills
* Experience in animal handling and husbandry skills
* Sound knowledge of ranger practices and procedures, relevant statutory legislation and local laws
* A current unrestricted C class (manual) driver's licence
* Experience operating 4WD vehicles
* Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office products
* A police clearance certificate (less than 6 months old)
* Senior First Aid
* Applicants must be aged 18 years or above
