Synopsis
Haileybury welcomes applications for the role of VCE English Teacher to join our Senior School Keysborough Campus. This is a Full-time Fixed term (Leave Replacement) position, commencing 20 April 2026 until 26 June 2026 (Term 2). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and support students in their learning journey within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver the curriculum using Haileybury's Explicit Instruction model, ensuring best pedagogical practices while staying current with modern teaching methods and relevant frameworks.
* Prioritise building positive relationships within the school community and collaborate with colleagues to develop blended learning resources and assessments.
* Use varied assessment tasks to accurately measure student achievement, integrate digital learning tools into their practice, and actively engage in ongoing professional development.
About You
* Brings experience and passion for teaching VCE English, using evidence-based practices to actively engage students.
* Builds safe, respectful and inclusive classroom environments, fostering collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking among students and colleagues.
* Utilises technology to enrich learning, and actively engage in professional growth through data-informed practices and collaboration.
