Job Overview
As a seasoned specialist power and water consulting firm, we offer comprehensive solutions throughout the asset lifecycle. This role involves reviewing junior team work, providing technical support, maintaining client relationships, acting as a technical lead for connection studies, GPS compliance, and managing small projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and mentor junior engineers to enhance their skill set
* Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive business growth
* Interface between us and our clients to ensure seamless collaboration
* Lead connection application studies and GPS compliance assessments to guarantee project success
* Model overlays and validation in PSSE and PSCAD to deliver high-quality results
* Project manage smaller projects from conception to completion
This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects including wind, solar, battery storage, pumped hydro and utilities (transmission and distribution), delivering structural design for transmission lines and substations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on technical leadership
* Strong communication skills to effectively interface with clients and team members
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently
* Familiarity with PSSE and PSCAD software
