Job Description:
The Team
Dimensional's Compliance and Risk Management Department oversees internal controls, policies, procedures, and risk frameworks. Our global team operates around the clock, embedding compliance and risk staff within various groups to foster communication and efficiency. Responsibilities include establishing and monitoring compliance with laws, regulations, guidelines, and contractual obligations. Risk team members work to integrate risk management practices across departments.
The Opportunity
As a Compliance and Risk Officer, you will support ensuring our operations comply with regulations and internal policies, assist with risk assessments, review processes, and help develop and monitor governance frameworks. You should be proactive, communicative, and interested in fund management, ready to contribute to our business success.
* Review and assess company policies and procedures.
* Maintain risk and compliance registers.
* Conduct compliance deep dives and research.
* Advise on internal controls implementation.
* Stay updated on compliance requirements and amendments.
* Develop risk management strategies.
* Investigate incidents and breaches for root causes and preventative measures.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Law or Commerce/Business.
* Experience in investment management, audit, or financial risk/compliance consulting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Research and networking abilities.
* Detail-oriented, self-motivated, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
* Strong work ethic, integrity, and fiduciary responsibility.
* Ability to balance commercial and regulatory risks.
