Job Title: Geotechnical Risk Management Specialist
The Geotechnical Risk Management Specialist role is critical to safeguarding communities, infrastructure and the environment by assessing, monitoring and mitigating ground movement impacts caused by underground mining operations.
This position requires a deep understanding of mine subsidence risks and the ability to develop predictive models. The successful candidate will also have excellent analytical and reporting skills.
In this role you will be working closely with developers, engineers, regulators and community stakeholders to provide technical advice on remediation, prevention and mitigation measures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed mine subsidence risk assessments and develop predictive models
* Monitor, analyse and report on ground movement and associated infrastructure impacts
* Provide technical advice on remediation, prevention and mitigation measures
* Collaborate with developers, engineers, regulators and community stakeholders
* Prepare expert technical reports for internal and external stakeholders
* Ensure adherence to mine subsidence legislation, industry standards and safety frameworks
