We are looking for dedicated and hardworking Farmhands to join our dairy farm operations in Bookar, Camperdown. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in dairy goat farming and a strong understanding of daily farm routines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the daily care and management of dairy goats, including feeding, cleaning, and general animal welfare.
* Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, ploughing machines, and milking machines.
* Support with milking procedures and ensure proper handling and hygiene standards are followed.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the farm, sheds, and work areas.
* Help with general farm tasks such as fencing, pasture maintenance, and basic repairs as needed.
* Follow all farm safety protocols and report any issues promptly.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience working in a dairy goat farm or similar agricultural environment.
* Experience operating machinery such as tractors, plough machines, and milking equipment is highly desirable.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in outdoor conditions.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
* Candidates living in or near Bookar/Camperdown or surrounding areas are preferred.
