We are seeking ambitious and skilled Managing Consultants – Contaminated Land to join our growing Newcastle and Sydney offices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead complex site investigations, remediation programs, and environmental risk assessments.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, helping them develop their technical and project management skills.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders, delivering high-quality environmental solutions while building strong relationships.
* Oversee field programs, subcontractor management, and site-based works, ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
* Develop project proposals and contribute to the growth and success of our operations.
* Collaborate with our global team of experts, gaining exposure to innovative methodologies and best practices.

What We're Looking For

We seek motivated and experienced consultants with 5-8 years of contaminated land consulting experience, eager to take on a leadership role. Ideal candidates will have:

* A relevant tertiary qualification in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or soil science.
* A strong track record in contaminated site investigations and remediation, with experience in a consulting environment.
* Technical expertise in preliminary and detailed site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation strategies.
* A commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices, particularly in high-risk field settings.
* Excellent project management skills, including proposal writing, budgeting, and client engagement.
* Strong report writing abilities, with engagement in professional industry bodies being highly regarded.
* The ability and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
* A valid Australian driver's licence and full Australian work rights.
