Chandler Macleod is seeking a Maintenance Fitter (shift relief) to join the team at Baiada, Beresfield. About the role As the Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): Conducting routine preventative maintenance on food-grade machinery and equipment. Responding promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime. Carrying out mechanical repairs and adjustments on conveyors, mixers, slicers and packaging lines. Following strict food safety and hygiene protocols (HACCP, CMP) Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals. Recording maintenance activities. Liaising with production staff, supervisors and managers to identify and resolve mechanical issues. Maintaining a clean and safe work area in line with WHS and food safety regulations.
