Interpreting technical drawings and schematics to understand equipment layouts and maintenance requirementsConducting routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtimeDiagnosing and repairing faults in pumps, turbines, valves, and other plant machineryFollowing strict safety procedures and site protocols to maintain a protected working environment for all personnelCollaborating with other trades and engineering teams to coordinate shutdowns, overhauls, and project workDocumenting maintenance activities and reporting issues to supervisors for timely resolutionWhat you'll need to succeed
Trade Qualified – Mechanical FitterDriver’s licenceLiving locally within the region, or have the ability to do DIDOPrevious shutdown experience – highly advantageousContactable referencesWhat you'll get in return
If successful, you’ll be joining our client’s team for an upcoming shutdown at Callide Power Station, commencing immediately and running through to early/mid-October. This is a great opportunity to work in a close-knit, supportive environment where your skills and contributions are genuinely valued. You’ll benefit from a competitive hourly rate, including penalties, superannuation, and applicable allowances, while working on a 6-days-on, 1-day-off roster, with accommodation and meals provided for those not living locally.What you need to do now
