The role of Practice Manager at our veterinary clinic is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced leader to make a significant impact on the success of our team. About the Role
* We are seeking a dynamic leader who can oversee all operational and people matters within the clinic, including communications, procedures, and business services.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for leading employee matters such as recruitment, workforce planning, rosters, health and wellbeing, recognition awards, people performance, training, and development.
* They will also be engaged in customer experience and client loyalty activities, clinic service streams, marketing, digital services, social media, complaint resolution, and compliments.
* Additionally, the Practice Manager will manage the financial performance of the clinic, stock control, procurement, accounts, budgets, and profit and loss.
* They will lead work health and safety compliance, facilities and maintenance, assets and equipment, as well as cleaning and presentation standards.
* The successful candidate will work closely with Clinical Leaders to uphold industry standards and innovation, clinical governance, and strategic direction and decisions of the clinic.
* They will collaborate with Regional Managers to champion change, improve clinic performance, drive client engagement, and create high-performing service environments.
* Furthermore, the Practice Manager will lead company initiatives, projects, and technology.
* They will bring a transparent leadership style focused on collaboration and engagement.
About You
* We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years' experience in a clinical position or head nurse role in a veterinary or animal-related field.
* The ideal candidate will be committed to high standards of service excellence and clinical care.
* They should have experience with practice management systems or appointment book management skills and be computer confident.
* A strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skillset is essential.
* Good knowledge of people and employment obligations, workplace health and safety regulations, and experience or interest in change champion and project management are also required.
* The successful candidate will possess a genuine, warm, and supportive style that enjoys caring for people who care for animals.
