About the Role
As a Business Analyst – NetSuite, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, developing concepts, and creating business case justifications. You’ll translate these into functional requirements, design best practice business processes, develop test cases, and conduct business system optimisation workshops. Your focus will be on maximising return on investment in business systems, refining processes, and developing end-user acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage business analysis activities, including planning, monitoring, and identifying how technology can support business objectives
- Design and manage tests for recent or updated processes
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users
- Gather and map business processes and operating models
- Analyse processes and suggest alternative solutions
- Check if solutions are feasible and recommend practical improvements
- Act as the main contact for senior stakeholders during business changes
- Plan and carry out evaluations of systems and processes
- Set policies for finding and documenting requirements clearly
- Assess risks in specific business or technical areas
- Manage multiple Oracle NetSuite modules
- Create and maintain business rules and application settings
- Build automated workflows and reports using database tools
What We’re Looking For
- Tertiary qualification in computing, business, science or related discipline and/or substantial work experience in a progressive environment demonstrating expertise in the above skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Understanding of automated records management systems and web-based solution deployment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose practical solutions
- Experience working across a range of business processes and functions
- Strong understanding of process and impact
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Change Management Skills
- Ability to be a leader in a key competency such as BABOK
