* engaging with internal and external stakeholders as the primary point of contact for Antarctic movements for expeditioners, including the monitoring of clearance requirements
* proactively maintain the ticketing database to meet current operational demands
* working effectively and with minimal direction within the Operations Management Centre to develop and maintain succinct, flexible communications with expeditioners relating to transport information between Australia and Antarctica
* coordinate travel arrangements for expeditioners to and from Antarctica including travel on non-AAD transports and return / departure from ports outside of Hobart
* coordinate reporting and records management activities for the section including:
o the maintenance of databases and statistical information
o the maintenance of document templates and the production and publication of section procedures and guidelines
* provide a range of administrative support to the section including secretariat services, the assistance with procurement activities and the development of rosters for watch keeping personnel
* supervise and manage the day-to-day work plan of the APS4
