We are seeking a highly skilled 3PL Operations Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and controlling the performance, cost, and capacity of external logistics providers.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires a combination of practical and intellectual skills, with the ability to shift between complex analyses and hands-on project management.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to produce, interpret, and draw conclusions from data.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels.
Theoretical and practical knowledge of Lean techniques, such as Kaizen or Six Sigma.
Technical expertise, with a solution-driven approach to systems and processes.
Prior experience in operations leadership, preferably in a similar fast-paced process-driven manufacturing, production, or distribution/logistics environment.
Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this role.
A team player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines.
Experience with analytical tools, such as data warehouse tables: SQL/Visual Basic/Power BI.
Masters degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Business Administration.
* Manage and control performance, cost, and capacity of external logistics providers.
* Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance, maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PL providers.
* Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Prioritize projects and software feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectations.
* Ensure requirements and resources are available to deliver success.
* Work closely with technical development teams to deliver features which are customer-focused, scalable, auditable, and iteratively developed.
